About the event

This event is open only to tournament participants and sponsors, their families and friends, and West Pasco Art Guild Volunteers and Steps to Recovery Volunteers.  The Fish Fry Celebration, and associated fishing tournament, will be out of the Get Hooked Grill, 14333 Crabtrap Court, Hudson. The owner, John Hill, is providing the space for free, however, drinks will need to be purchased, and gratuities to the staff are appreciated. The outside area now has a turf floor and sun covering, so it should be very comfortable. We will plan to have appetizers for those volunteers working in addition to the other food.

Also, any guild member who wants to come to the Fish Fry can make a per person donation ($10-15) to the guild and attend, however, the donation needs to be made in advance at the guild.

This year, we plan to do on-site Gyotaku (fish prints) to give to the winners, and for anyone else who might want to buy one. Sales will be on a consignment basis, just like at the guild. Email Helen Hanley at helen@westpascoartguild.org if you have an interest in learning how to do Gyotaku and participating at the event.

Also, if anyone is interested in participating in the actual fishing tournament, contact Davis Hanley at davis1175@gmail.com and mention West Pasco Art Guild as your source of information.

This will be a FUN event and volunteers are also welcome to advertise their art.  Funds raised at the event in excess of costs will be donated to the West Pasco Art Guild and the Veteran organization, Steps to Recovery.

Rain dates are Saturday, September 7th and/or September 14th.  Fingers crossed!
